Meet The Trainers
   
The trainers at Group Interval Training are all certified personal trainers with years
of experience in all aspects of interval training, nutrition and injury prevention.

   Matt Rolph
   

Matt Rolph is AFAA certified, pre-post natal certified, and stretch and flexibility certified. Matthew grew up loving sports and physical fitness.  He began helping others reach their fitness goals when he was out of high school and became a personal trainer.

He grew up in Indiana and moved to Los Angeles 7 years ago. His passion for fitness has carried over and he has worked with hundreds of clients in the LA area of all ages and with varying fitness goals.
 
When coming to Matthew's class you will not only feel welcome and comfortable, but you are going to have a lot of fun while getting a great workout! Matthew is an active member of IDEA, the International Association of Fitness Professionals, he is certified with the American Heart Association in HeartSaver AED.

Becky Lindholm

 

Whether it’s hiking, biking, yoga or training for a marathon, Becky uses exercise to keep herself healthy, balanced and to enhance her experience of life.  From a young age her father, a former marine, taught her to challenge her mind and body through exercise.  As a result, fitness and an overall sense of adventure have been constant and integral parts of her life. 

In 2001 Becky moved from rural Pennsylvania to Southern California on a whim and immediately felt at home.  The immersion into the culture of self-improvement along with her playful enthusiasm for all things fitness, led her down the natural path of becoming a trainer.  

Becky’s approach to her classes mirror how she approaches life. With a little creativity, fun and hard work you will discover your own ability to push past your physical and mental limitations.  Expect to learn, laugh, sweat and be the best version of you.

Ashley Marriott has inspired thousands of people to live healthier and happier lives during her 14 years as fitness professional. Her classes and trainings reach a broad range of clients that include celebrities, busy moms, weekend warriors, seniors and professionals who all share the desire to get fit, have fun, and lead healthier lives. She’s the creator of Burn ‘N Firm, a DVD fitness sensation and is a frequent guest on television and radio sharing her get fit strategies.
  Ashley has co-authored two award winning books, Dump Your Trainer, and Your Best Body Now and has written dozens of fitness and nutrition articles for publications worldwide. She continues to teach packed classes throughout Los Angeles bringing an infectious enthusiasm to all of her classes and training sessions.

Sheila Lee

 

 
Sheila has been an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor since 1996 and an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer since 2002.  She got her first taste of group fitness while pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree at the University of South Florida; needless to say, she was hooked!  Sheila has been featured in several fitness DVDs and on Fittv's All Star Workouts.

 

Sheila’s high-energy, no nonsense approach to fitness inspires others to step out of their comfort zone. “Push a little harder, get a little stronger” is her favorite mantra.
